Well, there is only one word to describe this past week and that is OVERWHELMING! Quit job, painting, cleaning, baby shower, new job...wow- Grant is learning already what it is like to have a lot of things happening at once. On Tuesday I quit working at the ME's office. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday we sanded a dresser, painted the room (thanks to my mom), cleaned the house (thanks again to Mom).
Saturday night we had some friends in town so we all went down to Bricktown and bowled. I decided not to bowl because my belly was wanting to just sit and watch everyone else and not bend over so much.
Then Sunday afternoon, I had a shower at church, which was just amazing. When I walked into the room, it was decorated so cute with sea life everywhere. There was so many gifts to open and we were so blessed to have people throw us this shower.
Then Monday morning, I started my new job at the OSBI. It has been a bittersweet past two days knowing that I have a great opportunity at OSBI, but sad to not be working with some of my closest friends. I also had a doctor's appointment today that went well and she says that I am on schedule for 34 weeks. Only 5 1/2 more weeks to go! Then maybe I can be comfortable sleeping and breathing again...We are excited about the greatest change in our lives.
